Class Tuition Deadline: Tuition is due in full by two weeks after submitting your official registration (above) or one and a half weeks before the start of your program, including a trial program, whichever is sooner. If needed, families should feel free to contact us for special arrangements. Technology Requirements: All students enrolled in our programs must have access to a computer, high-speed internet, and functioning headphones, webcam, and microphone. These items are necessary to ensure that online classes are most effective. It is the responsibility of all participants to provide these items and ensure that they are in good working order; Cambridge Debate Institute (CDI) is not responsible for any technical malfunctions that affect participation in our programs. Media Permission: During the course of the Program, we may use photographs, videos, or other media to record or otherwise capture participants’ image or voice or material resulting from his or her activities or performances. I give permission to CDI to use these Images and Recordings without compensation. I understand that if, for whatever reason, at any point in time, I decide to revoke this Media Permission by notifying CDI in writing, all Images and Recordings will no longer be used, except in any publication already printed or published prior. Copyright Notice: Over the course of participating the Program, you will likely receive course materials, which may include, among others, presentations, assignments, and written feedback, are the property of CDI and exclusively for students' personal use, for the sole, non-commercial purpose of learning and instruction. Any recording of Program activities (e.g. online class) or any sharing of course materials with other individuals without the prior consent of CDI constitutes a violation of copyright and is prohibited. Cancellation Policy: CDI incurs a number of unrecoverable costs associated with running our programs, including prior commitments to our staff. For this reason, 25% of your tuition constitutes a nonrefundable deposit. Should cancellation become necessary prior to one week before the official start of the program, we can offer you a full refund, less your deposit. Should cancellation become necessary within one week of the official start of the program, we are only able to offer you an account credit. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing to team@CambridgeDebateInstitute and be sent prior to the official start of the Program. Trial Policy: 1. Trial classes can only be taken once per student, unless otherwise permitted by CDI. 2. To receive the discounted trial class tuition, you and the person noted in "I am registering for this trial class with" field above must each put each other. 3. Any discount received for a trial class is only applicable to the trial class.
